Great to meet you!

Welcome to First Step Therapy – I’m so glad you’re here. I know how vulnerable it can feel to seek therapy and open up to someone new. That’s why I created First Step Therapy because I truly believe that taking the first step toward healing is a powerful and brave act of self-care.

I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion to my practice. I’m here to offer a safe, judgment-free space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone; together, we’ll work toward healing, growth, and emotional well-being.

When you’re ready, I’ll be here to walk that first step with you.

My approach to therapy

I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach that honors your unique experiences and needs. Using evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and attachment theory, I tailor each session to support your healing and growth. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I provide trauma-informed care that respects your story and cultural background. Together, we’ll build a personalized path toward emotional well-being at your pace, with empathy and respect.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard, supported, and empowered. Together, we’ll work on developing personalized coping strategies, gaining insight into patterns and past experiences, and building the tools needed for lasting healing and emotional well-being all in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
