Great to meet you!

I believe healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York. I am EMDR Certified and integrate EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Exposure Response Therapy (ERP) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to tailor treatment to each individual's needs. I work with adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, grief, addiction, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, chronic or terminal illness, and caregiver stress. Many of my clients are navigating circumstances they never expected to face, and together we work toward healing, resilience, and reconnecting with what matters most.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process rather than one where I'm simply telling you what to do. My goal is to create a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll explore the experiences, patterns, and beliefs that may be keeping you feeling stuck while building practical tools that support lasting change. I strive to meet each client where they are, adapting my approach to fit your personality, goals, and stage of healing.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know each other. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I like to keep things conversational and comfortable rather than overly formal. We'll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, what you're hoping to get out of our work together, and any questions you have for me. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we'll move forward together.
