Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience helping adults and teenagers navigate anxiety, depression, addiction, OCD, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also work with couples and families. I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment, at the New School for Social Research in 2005 and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in 2019.

My approach to therapy

I strive to provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can develop practical skills, gain insight, and make meaningful, lasting changes. My approach is eclectic as I use a combination of evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and the Gottman Method to create individualized treatment plans.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting relationship and explore what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, goals, personal history, and strengths while identifying patterns and areas where you would like support. My hope is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable as we create a collaborative plan to help you move toward meaningful change.
