Great to meet you!

You may have reached a point where you're tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns, carrying anxiety that never seems to quiet down, grieving a loss that's changed your life, or wondering if things can ever feel different. No matter what has brought you here, change is possible, and you don't have to find your way forward alone. I provide virtual therapy for adults and older adults throughout Texas, helping people navigate substance use, anxiety, depression, and grief while also supporting family challenges, relationship concerns, women's issues, and the emotional impact of life's transitions. With 18 years of experience, I believe healing isn't about becoming someone else. It's about rediscovering your strengths, finding hope again, and creating a life that feels healthier, more balanced, and more fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change happens when therapy is built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine understanding of your unique experiences. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and life events that have shaped where you are today while developing practical tools that help you move toward lasting growth. You may have come to therapy because of substance use, anxiety, depression, or grief, only to realize those challenges are also affecting your relationships, family life, confidence, or sense of purpose. Sometimes the ways we've learned to cope no longer serve us, leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the people we care about. Together, we'll explore how these experiences are connected so we can build healthier patterns that support meaningful, lasting change. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you respond more flexibly to life's challenges, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and reshape unhelpful thinking patterns, Positive Psychology to build on your strengths, Cognitive Processing Therapy to process difficult experiences, or Problem Solving Therapy to create practical strategies that support continued progress.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy doesn't require having all the answers. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand your story, identify the changes you hope to make, and create goals that reflect the life you want to build moving forward. As we continue working together, you'll have a compassionate space where you can speak openly, work through setbacks without judgment, celebrate progress, and develop practical skills that continue supporting you outside of therapy. My hope is that you'll leave each session with greater confidence, renewed hope, and the reassurance that meaningful change is possible, no matter where you're starting from. Whenever you're ready, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.
