Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Houston, Texas. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Houston.

I have over seven years of clinical experience working with adults and teens navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and life transitions. My background includes providing therapy in community and college-based settings, as well as supporting individuals impacted by family stress and migration-related experiences. I am also a Certified Grief-Informed Professional (CGIP), with additional training in supporting individuals navigating grief and loss.

As a Latina clinician, I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. I value thoughtful, culturally responsive care and believe therapy should feel supportive, respectful, and grounded in real life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I believe therapy should feel like a safe and respectful space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out.

I work at a pace that feels comfortable for each person, focusing on understanding emotions, building practical coping skills, and making sense of life experiences in a way that feels manageable and supportive.

I value cultural awareness and believe meaningful change happens when clients feel heard, respected, and supported over time.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on creating a space that feels welcoming and comfortable. You can expect a conversation where you’re invited to share what brought you to therapy at your own pace, without pressure to discuss anything you’re not ready to explore.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand what you’re experiencing and what you hope to get out of therapy. Together, we’ll begin to identify what feels most important to focus on and talk about what support might look like moving forward.
