Great to meet you!

My biggest strength in working with clients is my natural comfort with people of all walks of life and my ability to place them at ease quickly. I am a retired Army Nurse and have treated, PTSD, marital stress; depression, anxiety and substance use disorders, sleep and chronic pain disorders, adjustment and mood disorders for 20 years.

I have spent 10 years treating the seriously mentally ill, Intellectual/developmentally delayed/group home populations and inpatient detox patients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My personality is suited very well for my career choice and I am very grateful for that.

I enjoy patient interaction, helping people improve their day to day functioning with medications and also brief counseling, psychoeducation and holistic medical solutions. I take the time to listen to patients and their stressors and histories; not only to medicate them and move them along quickly.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe my patients take away a sense of satisfaction after meeting with me because they appreciate the time and effort I put into our appointments. My patients have commented that they appreciate the time and attention I devote to them at every appointment and even between appointments through email and text if needed.
