Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Laura and I am clinical social worker dedicated to providing you services that are helpful and empowering. I completed my advanced clinical training through Yale University's School of Medicine's Child Study Center, where I spent time grounding myself in clinical work that centers clients and their experiences by letting you be the expert on your problem and provide evidence-based treatment to guide you through. I offer a space for clients to build a deeper understanding of themselves, and build goals towards their dream life. Clients are encouraged to live authentically, build a mental health toolbox, and find a deep inner connectedness. I specialize in work with BIPOC clients dealing with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and complex relationship issues. This is a space for healing and growth, that is created in partnership with the client.

My approach to therapy

I often work with teens and young adults experiencing stressful life changes, anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem. I also enjoy working with parents of children with anxiety disorders and depression, offering not only parent guidance but a supportive relationship to those experiencing parental stress.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be where we get to know one another, and I get a clearer idea of your expectations for treatment. We will begin to co-create a treatment plan that feels good for you!
