Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years as a counselor working with teens, adults and seniors. I can assist you with mood and anxiety disorders, anger and stress management, family conflict, parenting issues and LGBTQIA+ exploration. I believe people have the ability to improve the quality of life but may need some assistance finding options.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I generally use solution-focused techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy with an added emphasis on finding meaning in life. I believe that a strength-based approach will assist with wellness, self-growth, identifying problematic thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

What you can expect from our first session

We will discuss symptoms and situations that would like to change and devise a plan to a plan that you are comfortable with. I take a direct approach when needed by challenging unproductive thought and behavior patterns. I will supply you with thought-provoking information and out-of-session work to help you work toward your goals.
