Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Laura Hirsch and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have years of experience working with individuals and families in crisis situations. I am passionate about supporting women, men, couples, and families through all life stages and transitions. I specialize in relationship issues, parenting, and adoption as well as adjustment disorders, anxiety and depression. I see therapy as a collaborative journey where you are the expert of your life and experiences. Together we will uncover your strengths and set goals to help you become the person you want to be.

My approach to therapy

I work from a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach. You are the expert in your own life and I approach therapy with curiosity and a deep desire to understand the person or persons I am working with. I work with clients who are experiencing a variety of different things from anxiety, depression, major life changes, parenting struggles, relationship issues, and adoption.

What you can expect from me

I like to start in our first session with you sharing your story and working on getting to know each other. We will work together to build the therapeutic relationship through open and honest communication in a welcoming environment free of judgement. Once you feel comfortable, we can work together to achieve your therapeutic goals.
