Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with experience helping children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My background includes working with youth involved in child welfare, education, Medicaid, and community-based services, giving me a unique understanding of the complex family systems that often impact individuals and families. I take a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I have a particular passion for supporting teens and young adults, individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or trauma, and families working to strengthen relationships and communication. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to overcome obstacles, recognize their strengths, and move confidently toward the life they want.

My approach to therapy

I believe people are far more than the challenges that bring them to therapy. My role is to help clients recognize their strengths, build on their successes, and find practical solutions that move them toward the life they want to live.

Using a solution-focused approach, I help clients identify meaningful goals and create achievable steps toward lasting change. While understanding the past can be important, I also believe that therapy should provide hope, direction, and tools that can make a difference in the present. I want clients to leave sessions feeling encouraged, empowered, and equipped with strategies they can apply right away.

I work alongside clients in a supportive and authentic way, helping them navigate life's challenges while building confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. Whether you are facing anxiety, relationship concerns, stress, personal transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together to create positive change and help you move forward with purpose.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. During our first session, I'll take time to get to know you as a person, not just the challenges that brought you to therapy.

We'll talk about what is important to you, what has been difficult lately, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. While I believe building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential, I also value helping clients begin making progress from the very beginning. Together, we'll start identifying goals, exploring strengths, and developing practical strategies that can help you move forward right away.

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. You can expect a conversation that feels natural and judgment-free, where your experiences are heard and respected. By the end of the first session, my hope is that you'll not only feel understood, but also leave with a clearer sense of direction and a plan for achieving the changes that matter most to you.
