Great to meet you!

I have a strong background in women's issues, including balancing work and personal life, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic style integrates a cognitive behavioral approach with mindfulness. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to slow down and examine emotional and behavioral patterns that are ineffective, and create positive change. I specialize in working with trauma, addiction, college students, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative process exploring how the past informs the present and allowing trust and authenticity to foster insight and development. I strive to provide the highest quality of care, focusing on the unique needs of each individual and creating a safe environment with room for challenges, exploration and growth. I help clients learn skills for tolerating pain, responding vs reacting, increasing self-respect, improving relationships, and participating fully in each moment.

What you can expect from me

Therapy requires hard work from both therapist and patient in order to yield desired results. Your courage to show up and participate can allow for growth through increased awareness, mindfulness of thoughts and emotions, more effective coping strategies, and stronger relationships. I welcome the opportunity to join you as you start this empowering process.
