Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of experience providing therapy in South Florida. I specialize in infant mental health, play therapy, attachment therapy, medical family therapy, and substance use treatment. My work is rooted in a deep passion for supporting children and families, while also drawing on many years of experience helping individuals navigating substance use challenges and older adults seeking memory support and training. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Therapy and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters Certified Addiction Professional. My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care that meets each client and family where they are and supports meaningful, lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on meeting each client or family where they are and tailoring care to their unique needs, strengths, and experiences. I draw from attachment-based therapy, play therapy, family-focused work, and substance use support to create a therapeutic experience that feels personal and effective. I’m especially passionate about helping children and families strengthen connection and communication, and I also have experience supporting individuals with substance use concerns and older adults needing memory support. My goal is to provide a calm, compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported in creating lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on creating a calm, respectful space where you can feel safe sharing your story. We’ll spend time building trust, exploring what brings you to therapy, and discussing your concerns, history, strengths, relationships, and goals. I move at a pace that feels right for you and your family, with the hope that you leave feeling heard, supported, and reassured that you have a place to begin healing and moving forward.
