Welcome! I’m Laura Lekocevic, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adults navigate difficult moments in their lives. My passion is to provide a safe, caring and healing environment. I team up with you to identify approaches that lead you in a positive direction.
My clinical focus is Trauma and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work well with clients who have experienced stressful, painful, frightening, or distressing events that are difficult to cope with and impact their daily lives. I intend to work along with you so that you can regain control of your life, understand how trauma has impacted you, and steps you can take for a healthier approach to life.
Our initial session begins by gathering information about what brings you to therapy. From there we can focus on setting achievable goals that we will be working towards with the purpose of achieving positive changes. I utilize different therapy approaches tailored to your needs and comfort level. You will determine the pace as we all have a unique journey in the healing process.
