Dr. Laura has her Doctorate in Psychology and is a Licensed Psychologist in California. She is also certified as a Counselor for Schools in CA and NV. She has her MS in Counseling & Human Systems and a BA in Psychology. Her primary clientele is women, prenatal, postpartum, their families and women suffering from relationship issues, anxiety, depression and trauma.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Laura's primary approach to therapy is cognitive behavioral, helping clients become aware of their current thought processes and how this influences their feelings, thus influencing actions. Positive psychology approaches are used to examine in a holistic way how to strengthen positive cognitive processes toward making healing choices and positive life changes.
