I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Bastian Health Therapy Corp. my academic journey began after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. Then, I received a Master of Science in Psychology with a major in mental health counseling. I completed my internship in community rehabilitation in patient three level services PHP, IOP, and OP.
As a therapist, I have also worked in general community mental health practices. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, families, and couples. The focus is on a host of challenges including, but not limited to, mood dysregulation disorders, self-esteem issues, abuse, trauma, substance use problems, and relationship dysfunctions. Throughout my experiences, I found a passion for helping clients ranging from ages 6 to 71 years old at this time.
With this practice, I pride myself in assisting patients with modalities such as REBT- Rational Emotive Brief Therapy, CBT- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, ACT-acceptance and commitment therapy, play therapy, trauma-focused therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and reality therapy.
