Great to meet you!

I am a LCSW who is passionate about meeting the needs of individuals and helping others to understand the impact of mental health and trauma on individual behaviors and relationships with others. I am employed as a clinical and school social worker. I work with adults, children and adolescents as well as mentoring peers and providing training in the areas of mental health, trauma, suicide prevention and school safety. I received my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. I assist others in gaining an awareness and understanding of self and their thoughts and behaviors. By gaining an understanding of self, individuals can begin to reframe thinking patterns and change behaviors to improve overall well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

In take away from sessions, it is my goal for individuals to feel listened to, understood, and motivated for change. Individuals should feel empowered after learning skills to take control of self and their ability to change.
