Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am a psychotherapist with over two decades of experience. In my practice I specialize in evidence-based psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety, trauma, sexual issues, stress, grief, depression, adjustment and relationship issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to providing therapy is integrative and client-focused. In my practice I tailor therapy to meet the unique needs of individuals and couples. I specialize in evidence-based psychotherapy through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, mindfulness and solution-focused modalities. My style is empowering, collaborative, holistic, motivating, nonjudgmentally affirming, goal-oriented, and compassionate.

What you can expect from our first session

I offer a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, empathetic, and safe. I offer insights into your experiences, advice on how to handle issues, challenge negative thoughts, set achievable goals, and evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions. The goal of the first session is for me to get to know you. As a well-trained therapist I do this by asking questions about your life, your background, and what brought you to therapy.
