Great to meet you!

I am a therapist who helps adults, adolescents and families navigate life's challenges and find meaningful paths toward healing. My background includes working with veterans experiencing trauma and PTSD, as well as over 20 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorders and other complex health concerns.

I bring a unique perspective to therapy by recognizing the connection between emotional, physical, and mental well-being. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and my goal is to create a compassionate, supportive environment where you feel understood, empowered, and encouraged to reconnect with your strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe meaningful healing involves understanding the connection between your mind, body, emotions, and life experiences. Together, we will explore your individual needs and develop strategies that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.

I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts work, and EMDR-informed techniques. I also incorporate elements of yoga, mindfulness, and creative expression when appropriate to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, and what you hope to accomplish through our work together.

I want you to feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. Together, we can begin exploring how your experiences may be influencing your emotional and physical well-being, identifying your strengths, and developing goals that reflect your individual needs. My priority is to create a supportive foundation where you feel heard, respected, and hopeful about the healing process.
