I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. I have worked as a therapist for the last 20 years, with children, teens, and adults of all ages.
I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy that looks beyond symptoms to understand the experiences and challenges that contribute to them. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I encourage clients to identify the concerns that bring them to therapy because understanding the problem is an important first step toward finding meaningful solutions. Together, we work to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting, positive change.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, OCD, ADHD/ADD, and behavior disorders, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I understand that reaching out to a mental health professional can feel intimidating, especially for the first time. That's why I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, respected, and supported.
Because every person is unique, I work collaboratively with each client to develop treatment goals that reflect their individual needs, strengths, and personal goals. Together, we create a path forward that is meaningful and tailored to what matters most to them.
