Great to meet you!

I am experienced in working with Adults and adolescents. Many of my clients come with a desire to process traumas they have experienced, and my goal is to meet them where they are and work with them toward the healing they desire. My work is trauma-focused, and my approach includes a lot of education and creating a safe environment for clients to gain the skills and knowledge they need to reach their goals.

I have practiced in Virginia, Massachusetts, Illinois, and Iowa, and obtained my Masters Degree from Regent University in Virginia. I am trained in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. Much of my experience has been working in Community Mental Health, and I have worked with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, BPD, and more.

My approach to therapy

I believe that clients are best able to heal in a setting where they feel safe, and it is my goal to create that for my clients. I work collaboratively with my clients, learning about their strengths and needs, and finding tools that are beneficial to each individual.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be getting to know each other, and planning the direction we plan to go with therapy. I will ask a lot of questions regarding your strengths, relationships, patterns, and stressors, but you are not under any pressure to give all the details at once.

I look forward to working with people who are ready to work toward healing.
