Great to meet you!

Laura Ramirez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria. She has experience in providing individual, couples, family, teen and group therapy services.

Laura is passionate about helping others regain their passion and purpose for living their best life, despite past traumas and life stressors. In her free time, Laura enjoys training for, and running, half marathons and 5ks. She also practices yoga and meditation.

My approach to therapy

She is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, certified DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) psychotherapist and utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). In addition, she addresses issues including depression, anxiety, family conflict, relationship issues and difficult life transitions.

What you can expect from me

Laura uses hypnotherapy to uncover the issues that may be lurking in the unconscious. Feelings that surface are then addressed through modalities that best fit the needs of the client. The ultimate goal is for the client to lead a happy, more fulfilled and empowered life. They will learn tools that can be used daily in order to deal with life changes and circumstances. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the individual client's needs.
