Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist, native Spanish speaker, and proudly Colombian with over 5 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families. If you are looking for a therapist who understands, genuinely cares, and can support you in English or Spanish, you are in the right place. I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, immigration concerns, family therapy, life transitions, stress, depression, relationship issues, and the emotional weight of trying to hold everything together. My goal is to create a safe, culturally responsive, and supportive space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of self.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, empowering, and nonjudgmental. I believe every person is valuable, deserving of healing, and capable of meaningful growth, no matter what they have been through. In session, we may explore the thoughts, emotions, family patterns, cultural experiences, and life stressors that are shaping how you feel today. We may also work on building coping skills for anxiety and depression, processing trauma or grief, strengthening communication, navigating immigration-related stress, and developing tools to help you feel more grounded and confident. I strive to meet you with compassion, honesty, and care while helping you move toward healing in a way that honors your story, culture, and goals!

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will change through our work together. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, immigration concerns, family conflict, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, we will begin identifying your needs and goals. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and more confident that therapy can be a place where you feel safe, supported, and understood.
