Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Laura. As a compassionate and experienced masters level counselor, I help individuals navigate their emotional struggles with evidence-based therapy.

I believe that healing occurs within the therapeutic relationship. I have always been an empathetic person who has been passionate about helping others solve problems and unlock the potential people didn't know they had. Eventually, I decided to make a career out of doing this. It's without a doubt, my life purpose. When you are ready to reach out, you will receive a warm, prompt and caring response.

My approach to therapy

Over the years, I have supported teens, young adults, and adults in managing anxiety, depressive symptoms, trauma symptoms, unresolved grief and loss, ADHD, anger relationship issues, life transitions, and overall stress management. I specialize in emotion regulation, self-defeating thinking patterns, emotional crises, and family dysfunction.

One important lesson I’ve learned is that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I adapt my approach to meet each person’s unique needs.

By working together, we have made positive changes in their lives. Clients have shared that they experience improved self-esteem, resiliency, personal responsibility, positive coping skills and overall well-being in my care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me will be a collaborative meeting focused on getting to know one another and to better understand how I can help you. My goal is to begin establishing trust and help you feel comfortable in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I will also gather important background information and understand your goals for therapy. I will be 100% committed to your wellness and care.
