Laura Smith

Hi, I’m Laura Smith, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting adults and seniors through different stages of life. I’ve worked in medical settings, including providing support to individuals living with end-stage renal disease and undergoing dialysis. My work spans multiple environments, where I focus on meeting clients where they are and offering compassionate, individualized care. I use evidence-based approaches that are effective and well-suited for virtual therapy.

My approach to therapy focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring the challenges they’re facing. Whether coping with the death of a loved one, experiencing loss of any kind, or navigating life changes, I strive to meet clients where they are.

Our first session will include introductions and a conversation about what therapy looks like and what you can expect. We’ll explore your background and current challenges, and begin creating a plan for moving forward. In future sessions, we’ll continue working together to clarify where you want to be and support you in getting there.
