Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Stanford-trained trauma therapist. I specialize in the intersection of trauma with disabilities (like brain injuries, autoimmune disorders or hearing loss, etc.).

My approach to therapy

In my practice I use evidence-based treatments to effectively treat symptoms from trauma, including posttraumatic stress disorder. I use Stanford Cue-centered Treatment for trauma (a type of trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and brainspotting (all evidence-based). I also provide a lot of coaching around disabilities, whether newly acquired, or something you've had for many years, and accessing resources to help.

What you can expect from me

You can expect your posttraumatic symptoms to substantially lessen within a short number of sessions with me. You should have less intrusive thoughts, nightmares, flashbacks, etc. while also gaining greater freedom and pleasure in your day to day life.
