Great to meet you!

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, beginning my career in crisis stabilization before transitioning into primary substance use treatment. Working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns has given me a deep appreciation for treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, personality disorders, and many of life's other challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual because no two people have the same story. I take a collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented approach, using evidence-based interventions that best fit your needs. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and experiential therapies to help clients gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and create lasting change. Together, we'll build on your strengths while addressing the obstacles keeping you from living the life you want.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify your goals, and talk about what you hope to achieve through counseling. I'll answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process and work with you to develop a plan that feels comfortable and achievable. My hope is that you'll leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that you're not navigating your challenges alone.
