Great to meet you!

During the last 5 years, a large part of my work has been in a non-profit setting where I worked with children and families from diverse backgrounds who were dealing family conflict, school challenges and trauma. I have also worked at Christian group practices to serve the community including couples, and families who experienced depression, anxiety and interpersonal trauma. Previously, I did internships a school in Chile and a community college in Chicago where I worked with children, teens and adults.

I also have experience working with compassion fatigue and those who serve internationally. Taking the first step towards change and healing takes courage. I am here to support you on that journey. It has been an honor to journey with clients through relationship issues, trauma, abuse, depression, & transitions and see hope re-emerge.

My approach to therapy

My hope is that you have space to share openly in a safe environment without fear of judgment. Healing and movement towards your goals takes time but I hope that restoration and understanding can be experienced in the process. I partner with my clients to empower them to lean into their strengths, gain insight into areas where they may be stuck and process the challenges they face.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we can discuss your main concerns and I will ask several questions about your background in order to understand your context and what has had an impact on your life.
