Great to meet you!

As a clinical social worker I have worked in many different settings such as hospitals, group homes, residential schools, community service agencies, and group practices providing individual therapy. I have worked with people from many different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Currently, I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for 10 years. I believe my broad experience helps me to understand my clients on many different levels and meet them where they are at.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself an eclectic therapist, meaning I do not believe there is one theory or method that fits all. I approach all of my clients with a strength based and holistic perspective. I work with many clients who may be struggling with family/relationships issues, stress, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety and women's issues. I am willing to explore any topic or issue you bring to our sessions.

What you can expect from me

I try to make our sessions feel casual, fluid, and friendly. I want to create a safe space for you to discuss and explore anything you want. My hope for my clients is that they leave sessions feeling empowered and confident in their own choices, intuition, and feelings.
