About Mrs. Lauren B. Willis, LPC, LCADC

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction counseling, I, Lauren B. Willis, am dedicated to empowering individuals and families. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), my practice is rooted in the values of faith and freedom, guiding my therapeutic approach.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am honored to serve on the Governor’s Advisory Committee for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Addicted for the State of New Jersey, where I advocate for accessible and inclusive care.

I also bring a comprehensive knowledge of the criminal justice system into my work, ensuring a holistic and informed approach to client care.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about volunteering with a local dog rescue, reflecting my belief in compassion and empathy both in and out of the counseling room.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to fostering hope, resilience, and empowerment, providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to heal and grow.

My approach to therapy

My clinical work integrates mindfulness practices and the therapeutic alliance of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), offering compassionate, evidence-based care to those facing trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges.

I also bring a comprehensive knowledge of the criminal justice system into my work, ensuring a holistic and informed approach to client care. I hold both a Master’s and Educational Specialist degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University.
