Hi there! I'm Lauren a queer, neurodivergent woman who is passionate about supporting and empowering members of my communities. I have worked extensively with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, with teens and emerging adults, and with both perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence. I am EMDR trained and work frequently with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions. I am currently accepting individual clients ages 15 and up.
My focus is on working collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness and empower them to reach their goals. I find that therapy works best when we are both able to be authentically ourselves and meet in a judgement free space. I enjoy being able to bring humor into counseling and holding that in balance with challenging old ideas and patterns.
My aim is to help clients increase confidence, self-esteem and to develop additional coping skills. I strive to help clients recognize their existing strengths as they continue to develop new ones.
