Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping people who might be feeling fragmented or alone to reconnect with themselves, their loved ones, and their communities.

As a trauma survivor, I have walked the path of recovery and understand the value of seeking therapy for the journey. I would love the opportunity to accompany you as you grow and tend to the garden of your heart and mind.

With a background in clinical social work and ministry, I can help you bridge your mental health recovery and spiritual journey into one path.

My approach to therapy

I love to empower individuals to embrace their unique voices and experiences as part of the recovery process and have facilitated events to raise awareness around mental health stigma, spiritual trauma, and racism.

My services are trauma and grief informed, and weave the following frameworks and interventions into sessions: mind-body approach (neurobiology, polyvagal theory, somatic), mindfulness, internal family systems, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and the expressive arts.

What you can expect from me

If you decide to embark on the therapy journey with me, I will collaboratively work with you to guide the process of mental health and trauma recovery while weaving techniques from various theoretical frameworks to meet your unique needs.

I use a mind-body approach to therapy that begins with helping people grow in knowledge and self awareness of how symptoms often manifest in response to our past experiences, while also practicing coping skills and exercises to help manage symptoms that cause people to reach out for help.

Once safe space is cultivated in the therapeutic relationship to dig deeper, we can begin living into the answers of questions that build our self awareness, understanding of those we love, and ability to navigate the circumstances we face in our lives, relationships, and environment.
