Great to meet you!

I’m Lauren Cranston Seaton, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience in mental health. My career has taken me from inpatient psychiatry with children and adolescents, to community mental health, to teaching future nurses, and to working extensively in corrections. These experiences allow me to connect with a wide range of clients, including first responders and those in high-stress environments.

I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and ADHD. My work is grounded in empathy—I value seeing the whole person and honoring each client’s unique story.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and person-centered. I believe mental health care works best when it’s compassionate, evidence-based, and built on trust. I combine medication management with supportive strategies, tailoring care to fit your individual needs and goals.

Empathy is at the heart of my work—it helps me create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood and respected, which I believe is the foundation for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a clearer understanding of their symptoms, practical tools they can start using right away, and a treatment plan that truly feels like theirs. My goal is for you to feel supported, less alone, and reminded that healing is possible—even when life feels overwhelming.

I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to each session, and I believe empathy is my superpower—it allows me to connect deeply and see the person behind the symptoms. I also believe a little hope (and even a little humor when it fits) can go a long way. Over time, clients often walk away with not just more stability and confidence, but also a stronger sense of who they are and where they want to go.
