Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. In addition to my clinical work, I have served as a Professor of Psychology and Counseling since 2018, allowing me to stay current with the latest research while training future mental health professionals. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and burnout, and I tailor treatment to each client's unique goals and strengths. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship.

I specialize in working with therapists, nonprofit leaders, educators, healthcare professionals, and other helpers who spend their lives caring for others.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative partnership where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical strategies for navigating life's challenges, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to create a space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we're a good fit. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and review relevant aspects of your history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll begin developing a plan tailored to your needs while addressing any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
