Great to meet you!

My name is Lauren Dircks, and I have been supporting people for 3 years through a variety of challenges. I have a masters degree in Social Work and am a fully licensed social worker. I help those working through anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship challenges, postpartum depression, life adjustments, and much more. I specialize in working with those 13 years and older.

My approach to therapy

I am a very honest and straight forward clinician, though I offer a warm and supportive delivery. I will provide options available and help walk you through each one without telling you what is right for you. My style is very supportive and empowerment based, and focused on helping you find your strength from within.

What you can expect from me

During our first session I provide time for the client to share the support they are seeking with coming to counseling, and allow them to guide the goals being set for therapy. I offer support in setting shorter term, achievable goals based on the clients long term goals. We will spend time getting to know each other and answering questions that are normal part of starting something new.
