Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in August of 2023.

After almost 2 years at a state-run residential addiction facility, I began working in a residential eating disorder treatment center where I spent nearly 3 years leading groups and providing individual therapy.

My approach to therapy

I have a compassion-focused, person-centered style. I enjoy helping others connect the dots and understand themselves a little bit better. I use combined modalities from multiple theories to increase self-compassion and become more curious of ourselves and actions.
