Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping teens and young adults navigate anxiety, stress, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to manage the pressures they face at school, work, or in their personal lives.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you've never talked to a therapist before. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and discussing what's on your mind without judgment.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, overthinking, confidence issues, family conflict, or emotional overwhelm, therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another.

Together, we identify unhelpful patterns such as self-criticism, perfectionism, overthinking, or avoidance and develop strategies to create meaningful change. I also help clients strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication skills, build confidence, and develop healthy coping tools.

When clients feel overwhelmed, shut down emotionally, or struggle to express what they are experiencing, we slow things down and explore what is happening beneath the surface. My goal is to help clients not only feel better but also gain skills they can use long after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, important life experiences, strengths, support systems, and what you hope to achieve through counseling.

There is no pressure to share everything right away. I work at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning.

By the end of the first session, many clients have a clearer understanding of their challenges, a better sense of direction, and an initial plan for how therapy can help them move forward.
