Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Advanced Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-Advanced) with 9 years of professional experience supporting adults navigating mental health concerns, substance use, chronic health conditions, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I offer telehealth therapy, allowing clients to access care in a flexible, comfortable way that fits into their lives.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, stress, relationship challenges, identity concerns, women’s issues, ADHD, bipolar disorder, sleep difficulties, stress and anger management concerns, substance use, and health-related disabilities. I have a particular passion for working with individuals navigating chronic conditions, career stress, life transitions, and identity exploration, especially when these experiences intersect with mental health and overall well-being.

In addition to my private practice, I currently work as a Clinical Supervisor at a non-profit organization, where I support individuals with serious mental illness in returning to the workforce through a supportive employment model. This role has deepened my expertise in helping clients rebuild confidence, manage symptoms, and create sustainable routines while navigating employment, recovery, and life balance through a holistic, person-centered approach. I’m also an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College, teaching graduate students in the Mental Health Counseling program—an experience that continually sharpens my clinical lens and keeps my practice grounded in current theory, ethics, and research.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when people feel truly seen, respected, and supported as whole human beings—not just as a diagnosis or problem to be fixed. I strive to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental safe space where you can slow down, reflect, and build meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Clients often describe my style as warm, personable, creative, and empowering. I draw from CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, attachment-based, psychodynamic, narrative, and solution-focused approaches, tailoring therapy to your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I value insight and reflection, while also helping clients build concrete tools for coping, emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a supportive and collaborative conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll explore your history, current stressors, strengths, and supports, and begin to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—my role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we make sense of things together.

At the heart of my work is a belief in your capacity for growth, resilience, and change. Therapy with me is about helping you reconnect with yourself, build insight and skills, and move toward a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and fulfilling.
