Great to meet you!

You’re not looking for a therapist who just nods and says “mmhmm” while you talk. You want someone who really sees you, offers honest, helpful feedback, and walks with you as you make meaningful changes in your life.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (204136) with over 10 years of experience in mental health, a professor at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and a mom myself. I know how meaningful, and sometimes vulnerable, it can be to reach out for support. Whether you're just beginning your therapy journey or returning to it, it would be a true honor to walk alongside you as you work toward greater mental health, clarity, and wholeness.

Think of me as your fellow traveler. Someone who holds hope when it feels hard to find and helps you rediscover joy along the way. I combine insight with practical tools, offering a mix of compassion, guidance and yes, we’ll likely share some laughs too. I truly believe joy can be reclaimed in the everyday. I am currently accepting new clients and offer a free 15-minute consultation call before scheduling.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients from all walks of life (child/adolescents/adults). My specializations relate to issues including depression, anxiety, fertility/postpartum, intimacy and relationship issues. I'm also a trained Gottman Level 3 therapist. I'm passionate about partnering with individuals as they navigate their journey of becoming a parent and family – including postpartum mental health and fertility/prenatal. I utilize a variety of approaches when working with clients including client centered therapy, discernment therapy, Gottman Method (Level 3 Gottman Trained therapist), attachment based, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I may additionally incorporate mindfulness practices, play therapy, and art into my therapeutic interventions dependent on the goals of the client.

What you can expect from me

I am not the silent, blank-slate type of therapist. I strive to take an active, collaborative approach when providing counseling, offering practical tools and meaningful insight to help you break free from stuck patterns and move toward joy and freedom in your daily life. Therapy can bring challenges and growing pains, but I believe in creating space for laughter, joy, and hope along the journey.
