Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they are after a major life transition. I especially enjoy working with athletes navigating life after sports, high-achievers and over-givers who are tired of putting themselves last, and people who often feel misunderstood. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s happening in your life and begin making sense of the patterns that brought you here.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative, with a willingness to be direct when it is helpful. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck- not just focus on managing symptoms. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment-based approaches, and reality therapy to help you better understand yourself and make meaningful changes. I believe therapy should help you fell more inventors to yourself, more confident in your choices, and more able to mold a life that actually fits you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’re experiencing, what you’ve tried before, fan what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin- we can make sense of it together. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of where you want to go and a sense of whether I’m the right person to help you get there.
