Lauren Hall

Hi! My name is Lauren Hall, welcome to my practice! I have been a Social Worker for about 13 years and have worked in multiple settings including in the community, Private Practice, and at two different Children's Hospitals. I have experience working with school age children, teenagers, and adults. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety and depression, as well as some trauma. I also have experience working with individuals working through the adjustment and struggles of parenting and also have personal experience with this as I am a Mother of two! I identify as a Christian and can incorporate Christian Counseling if a client chooses that.

I bring a client- centered and strength focused therapy. When working with a client with anxious or depressive symptoms, as well as navigating life changes, I like to use Cognitive Behavior Therapy. When working with clients navigating trauma I use Cognitive Processing Therapy.

In our first session I will be asking questions to better understand the reason you are seeking therapy. I will talk to you about your past experiences in therapy and things you have found helpful or that have not been helpful for you.
