Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming, and I truly understand how challenging it can be to juggle anxiety, chronic illness, stress, depression, and chronic pain. As a Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these struggles and rediscover a sense of meaning and balance in their lives.

My primary theoretical orientation is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I received specialized training in ACT on internship, residency and continues to be involved in ACBS and the implementation of ACT in the treatment of pain. My professional interests include helping people begin to implement chronic illness management skills like mindfulness, stress management, and instilling hope for re-engaging in an active and vital life.

I enjoy hiking, yoga, biking, cooking and reading in my free time.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults facing various life difficulties, and I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship from the very beginning. In our first few sessions, we'll work together to understand what you're going through and begin to identify ways to reconnect with the areas of life that matter most to you. Whether you're looking to manage stress more effectively, overcome persistent worries, or learn to live with chronic pain, I'm here to guide and support you.

I take a biopsychosocial approach to therapy, which means I consider not only the psychological aspects of your experience but also the physical and social factors that contribute to your well-being. I draw from a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices. My goal is to help you develop practical tools for coping with life's challenges and to support you in creating lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I know how hard it can be to face life's struggles alone. I’m here to walk with you on your journey, helping you explore new ways to approach challenges, cultivate self-compassion, and ultimately reclaim your life. My practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to your well-being.

If you're ready to begin the work of finding your way back to the life you value, I would be honored to help you..
