Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lauren, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Path to Peace Counseling. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, perfectionism, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness to help you understand patterns, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes. I consider your experiences, relationships, and strengths as we explore what brings you to therapy.

I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, heard without judgment, and supported as you work toward your goals. Your path forward doesn’t have to be walked alone.

My approach to therapy

I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to therapy, creating a space where you can feel heard and comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s been difficult, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to move forward. I tailor our work to your needs and strengths, with room for both support and gentle encouragement to grow.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your experiences, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out or share everything at once—there’s room to ask questions, go at your own pace, and begin identifying goals together.
