Great to meet you!

I have been working with individuals and families long before my education and career in social work began. Community volunteering, tutoring and nannying as a young adult inspired me to become a social worker. I earned my masters from Boston College with a concentration in children, youth and families. Though children started as my main demographic, I now work with clients across the spectrum of age, identity and intellectual ability.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space to learn and grow. That's why I bring a strengths-based approach to all sessions, and I tailor treatment strategies to each individual's needs, preferences and circumstances. Nobody knows you better than yourself, so I prioritize collaboration with each of my clients to ensure therapy with me is beneficial. Together, we can get you where you want to be!

What you can expect from me

My priority when we meet is making sure you feel supported. Starting therapy can be challenging and requires vulnerability that can feel uncomfortable. I maintain an empathetic, conversational style to help you feel as comfortable as possible in your vulnerability. As we get to know each other, I will gently challenge you as appropriate in future sessions to help you achieve your goals. I'm always on your team!
