Great to meet you!

You may be carrying more than people around you realize while still trying to keep up with work, relationships, family, and everyday responsibilities. Anxiety can leave your mind constantly running, depression may make it harder to feel like yourself, and trauma or bipolar disorder can make your emotions feel difficult to predict or manage. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, stress management, and trauma. These concerns can also overlap with substance use or addiction and PTSD, especially when painful experiences and the ways you have learned to cope begin affecting your emotional wellbeing and everyday life. Therapy can give you a place to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we can make sense of what has been weighing on you, strengthen healthier ways of coping, and help you feel more stable, grounded, and confident moving forward.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both what you are experiencing today and the emotions, relationships, patterns, and experiences that have shaped how you got here. We’ll explore how anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, stress management, and trauma may be affecting your emotional wellbeing and ability to feel grounded in everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, Dialectical Behavior Therapy to build practical skills for regulating intense emotions and navigating difficult moments, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help you notice difficult thoughts and feelings without immediately becoming overwhelmed by them. Motivational Interviewing can help you explore change without pressure, while Acceptance and Commitment Therapy can help you make room for difficult emotions while staying connected to your values and what matters most to you. Our sessions will be warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs, balancing deeper understanding with practical tools you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where therapy should begin. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic and decide where it makes the most sense to start. You can expect me to bring warmth, openness, and encouragement to our conversations while creating a space where you can talk honestly about difficult emotions, stress, and painful experiences without feeling judged. Progress may look like feeling less consumed by anxiety, feeling more stable through emotional highs and lows, reconnecting with yourself when depression feels heavy, managing stress with greater confidence, or feeling less controlled by experiences from your past. We will continue checking in on your goals and shape our work around what helps you feel more grounded, supported, and capable moving forward.
