Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting people of all ages who are navigating stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. I also have a strong background working with children, teens, college students, young adults, and their families to address depression, anger, low self-esteem, social challenges, friendship and family dynamics, school-related stress, and limited coping strategies. I work with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, helping them build emotional regulation, social understanding, and confidence.

In addition to counseling, I write books for mental health publishers on topics related to children’s mental health, sharing empowering coping strategies. In both my writing and therapeutic work, I emphasize fostering self-care, confidence, and a strong sense of self-worth, guiding clients toward growth and resilience while building on their unique strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I use evidence-based techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and psychoeducation to help clients build on their unique strengths. I provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where clients can grow in self-awareness, develop effective coping skills, and build lasting confidence. This process also fosters positive relationships and encourages a hopeful, empowered outlook on life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to counseling. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where your thoughts and feelings are heard. We’ll discuss your goals, explore your unique strengths, and identify areas you’d like to work on. I’ll also explain my approach and the strategies we might use, such as CBT, mindfulness, and other evidence-based tools. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear sense of next steps and how we can work together to help you build coping skills, confidence, and a hopeful, empowered outlook on life.
