Lauren O'Brien

My name is Lauren Guest O'Brien and I have been working in the counseling field since 2005. I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I have experience working with individuals of all ages but my current practice is working with adolescents and adults. I have expertise in a variety of mental health issues; my current passions are working in the areas of Anxiety, Trauma and Grief, Adjustment, Pregnancy/Prenatal, and Postpartum.

I would describe my therapeutic approach as solution focused and direct and I believe in building an individualized treatment plan that suits each client.

Together we will create steps toward change. Each of us are living our own unique human experiences but through support, guidance, skill building, and relatability we don't have to feel alone or stuck in our problems.
