Great to meet you!

I work with teens and adults, with a particular focus on women and the LGBTQIA+ community. Many of my clients come in navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship and family challenges, and some are working through questions of identity or self-worth. I take a collaborative, creative approach to this work. Rather than relying on a single method, I draw on DBT, mindfulness, expressive arts, and narrative therapy to help clients build real skills while also exploring the deeper patterns that have shaped them. I believe in challenging the beliefs that have held people back and helping them find new ways to see themselves and their lives.

My approach to therapy

I was born and raised in Reno and have family in the mental health field, so this work has always felt close to home for me. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno and spent my training years working with kids and teens across clinical and educational settings. Working through the pandemic deepened my understanding of what genuine connection in therapy can do. I am especially committed to creating an affirming, nonjudgmental space for women and LGBTQIA+ individuals who deserve care that honors all of who they are.

What you can expect from me

Sessions with me are active and collaborative. I will work with you to build concrete skills and gain new insight, while also gently challenging the patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I continue to grow my practice toward trauma-informed and nature-based approaches, and I bring creativity into the work whenever it serves you. My goal is for every session to feel like real progress. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
