Great to meet you!

My name is Lauren Paz and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked with elementary and middle school aged children as well as adults on a multitude of different topics including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and substance abuse.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I come from a behavioral analysis background, incorporating cognitive behavior analysis as well as solution focused therapy into my practice. I believe a holistic approach is important, as mental health is a piece to the puzzle that must all come together for the big picture.

What you can expect from our first session

Initially we will work to build a trusting and safe environment, as I believe this is the foundation to the rest of our work. The most important thing to me is that you feel comfortable. From there, the directions of our sessions will be based off of your wants and needs. We can collaborate to create goals and direct attention on what you identify as a priority. I hope our time together is enjoyable and constructive, growing at your pace!
