With over 9 years of experience working with various populations including teens, individuals from all ages, and couples; I truly have learned a lot during my time as a therapist. I believe it is important to have an eclectic approach to therapy and therefore use a myriad of treatment modalities to assist with clients and their journeys. Some of my personal favorites and techniques I use most often come from a cognitive behavioral approach, person centered approach, and strength based work.
I strive to use treatment modalities surrounding cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and strength based work to help my clients. I have clinical expertise on anxiety and depression, trauma, addiction, couple and relationship issues, grief, and self esteem. My goal is to assist clients in their journey for their mental wellness with the various knowledge and experience I have encountered over the years.
As a therapist who has been working in the field for over 9 years, I have to say that what I am proudest of is providing natural, genuine empathy for everyone who walks through my door. I aim to empower my clients to share their fears, concerns, hopes, and dreams. After the first session, I'm hoping that my clients feel heard, understood, and validated. I value my office being a sacred space where clients can truly explore their deepest thoughts and where I guide them to their best selves.
