Great to meet you!

I have been working with children and families for the majority of my career. I speak English and Spanish (which I learned as an adult in Oaxaca, Mexico). I got my BA in Social Work and my Master's in Social Work because it is always what I have felt called to do. I have experience working with a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, LGBTQ issues, parenting and parent-child relationship struggles.

My approach to therapy

I like to get to know my clients and build a trusting therapeutic relationship through humor, activities and practice of skills that are directly related to my client's goals. I'm flexible however I will set firm boundaries as needed. I will always look for the positive and empower clients to make choices that are best for them - because they know themselves best.

What you can expect from me

I work with all of my clients on identifying things for which they have gratitude. I believe that the more effort a person puts into therapy, the more benefits they will experience. My goal is to help my clients reach their goals and to encourage them to be open to new experiences.
